This shows why it's not a good idea. I came upon this one day in early May in a park not too far from where I live. The park has these old trees, many of which have rot in the roots. This must have been quite a crash! I actually took a snap of this with my cellphone and sent it to the local daily free paper, Metro. They put it on their website but not in the paper, so they didn't pay me anything.

Yeah. Oh well, maybe I'll come across a news worthy scene at some other time. Cell phone pictures are absolutely rubbish in quality, but they pay up to 100 euros for them, so why not try if you come across a news scene, eh?

I was once driving on a country road, and stopped for a minute, it was winter, so it was stormy, and a tree fell next to me, horizontally with where I was parked.
Phew, that must have been a bit scary!
