Kind of just playing around. I'm endlessly fascinated by the sun on pure, white, untouched snow. Another sunny day now, so I'm off with my camera again. It's only early January but already I'm in an optimistic mood. It feels like the sun is out more often than before Christmas, and the day has already got half an hour longer. That might not seem like much but it can only get better now!

I love fresh snow too. We've had a few days of small snowfalls, and it's pretty and bright here too.
I realised last night when I was playing with the dog in the yard after work that the sun was still out after 5pm. Lovely change, and it can only mean spring is coming!

I love the composition and angles, Maria. Looks like you've played it right -- using the thirds of the frame to make the eyes follow .. and back. Very cool. So much going on in such a "blank" subject. :-)
