Miniature sun

Lesser celandine, one of those small flowers so modest in form compared to the flowers of the tropic but somehow I like it more because it grows wild here. This, though, was in the botanical gardens where they grow in large mats. They're so beautiful aren't they, like tiny little suns.

They're actually quite pretty. I am finding myself, now that I've got this house and gardens, quite interested in botanical things. A strange evolution for me...

Anne-Marie, Life can lead to the most surprising directions, yup!

Grace, I think these, and similar related species, are pretty common everywhere...

Gina, the flowers were such a sweet sight...

Stefan, I'm happy to hear that the rain has finally ceased in Germany! Hope it continues the same so that you and the boys can really enjoy a sunny weekend!

I like the compariosn to the sun Maria. They are very pretty indeed, and we also have lots of tiny yellow flowers out at the moment too.
