A photography walk in the crisp, frosty, sunny -17 C followed by 40 minutes of water running and Turkish steam sauna = VERY good feeling!

Yes, I could have been a judge but I never had the Latin, never had the Latin for the judging. I just never had sufficient of it to get through the rigorous judging exams. They're noted for their rigour. People came staggering out saying 'My God what a rigorous exam' - and so I became a miner instead. A coal miner. I managed to get through the mining exams - they're not very rigorous. They only ask you one question. They say 'Who are you?', and I got 75% for that.

Loved the winter set!
We actually prefer our outdoor hot tub in the winter months- refreshing is the word.

You have an outdoor hot tub?? You lucky people! Would love that!!
Wow, Maria, this is a stunning photo. I just can't imagine -17 degrees being pleasant, but it seems as if you quite enjoyed it! It's snowing here today, and I must confess, I think nostalgically of the warmth of summer days.
Ouch... Sure looks cold to me! Anyway, we are hitting temperatures below -20 C everyday here now. It seems that this new winter is starting where the last left off...
Love it!
Refreshing and relaxing!
We, too, have an outdoor cedar hot tub. It is the epitome of luxury as far as I'm concerned! We find it the perfect way to end a cold winter's day. Especially beneath the Christmas lights at this time of year.
I also like the idea of it being -17 degrees and the water is still not frozen. A big difference between the sea and a freshwater lake.
