After the rain, the sun comes out

The moment when a shower of rain ends and the sun comes out, and the light sparkles on the streaming rain water and in the raindrops on tree branches, that's a perfect moment.

I love after the rain. So clean and refreshed. Missed you in the chat, been a bit busy. Hope you are well. Might enjoy the who video from Canada this week on my blog...

And the smell of the sun on wet tar and paving is also so special. These photos are great because you can see the reflections in the wet patches but the ground is still matt. The contrast is striking.

Hi Maria,

here we have cold autumn weather and sometimes days with rain and morning fog.
I like your pic. It give me (or us) the feeling of the end of a shower.

Do you go to the WHO christmas gig in London? I booked tickets for sunday together with Charlotte.

Best wishes
Love Stefan

Hi Grace,

Yes, the freshness of the rain is really special. Sorry haven't had time to answer before: I'll check out the video. I'm quite fine, hope you're as well.

Hi Val,

I agree on the scent of the wet tarmac as well! I was myself pleased with the striking contrast.

Hi Stefan,

I didn't buy a ticket yet (there's a third show added). If I can come up with some other reason to go to London, I might go. Otherwise, it's a bit too expensive to go just for a concert.

Best wishes to you and the kids as well!
