From today, this one. A bit of a departure for me here, thematically. There are about 5500 homeless in Helsinki according to official statistics. Far too many in a wealthy social state. In most cases, alcoholism is involved.

Very poignant, and the grey shades give it an even greater sense of isolation and despondency. Sad that there are so many, Maria. We have it here too. Most of them are drugs related though.
Yes, I felt the even greyscale was the only possible choice for this. Though I did try colours as well.
unfortunately they are an universal phenomenon. And such people are very difficult to help. :-( Not that large parts of the population really even try. The homeless are outside the established society and thus invisible.
