Let there be light

At this time of year in Finland it pretty much begins to be the rule that if the temperature is more than one or two degrees above zero, it's cloudy and rainy, often foggy as well. Not to mention windy, of course. So it has been for what feels like most of November so far. Things changed for a bit on monday, as the temperature fell to zero and the sun came out.

Ooooh, BEAUTIFUL, Maria...these are absolutely perfect! Please please can I print them? Were you just lucky with the light at that moment in that place, or did you wait for it??

Print away, Val! I was lucky, just happened to walk that street at the right moment!

I'm with Val Maria, these are wonderful images, and the light and colouring - that special, subtle atmosphere you get with the combination of cold greyness relieved by watery sunshine - is superb.

After your last blog pics with those beautiful objects, the switch back to human landscape also makes a nice juxtaposition. You are quite indecently talented.
