Weird moods

Darkness, cloudy sky and artificial lighting are good for sort of weird, unreal moods: strange tones of light and colours.

Still, I wouldn't mind at all if the dark time lasted about one month at maximum. Half a year is really rather exaggerated. I have to be optimistic though: it's only three months to late February when the sun already starts to come out during daylight time. If we're lucky there'll be snow and that will be REALLY bright.

The Villa looks like the house in the movie "pshyco".

I like these 2, the second is my favourite. The first looks desert like.

The "dark time" is a concept so alien to me in this part of the world that I still find it very surreal. However, anything that allows the creation of images like this can't be all bad Maria. What superb light, and yes, it is weird, and even a little sinister and creepy. I love it. I've just scrolled back through your last few posts too. The snowy bridge is a truly great photo, and I love the definition and drama of The Villa. Don't wish Summer back too soon!

Hi Maria, your dark months are giving wings to your creative talent. I couldn't cope with so much darkness myself, but I just love what you make of it, and the lights and images are superb. Keep making the most of it and we'll keep enjoying it - weird or not!
