There was ONE sunny day this week, on monday. These are all from that day, taken of or from the steps leading to the city cathedral in the city center.

Yes, I could have been a judge but I never had the Latin, never had the Latin for the judging. I just never had sufficient of it to get through the rigorous judging exams. They're noted for their rigour. People came staggering out saying 'My God what a rigorous exam' - and so I became a miner instead. A coal miner. I managed to get through the mining exams - they're not very rigorous. They only ask you one question. They say 'Who are you?', and I got 75% for that.

good ones Maria
What cool pics, Maria! Literally too ;-) The child on the steps is especially precious. Love them! The geometry of the brick work and the expanse of it with the snow, and the two solitary figures...brilliant. Keep them coming dear Maria!
Hi Maria - apologies for the hiatus. While you have had snow of course, I have been on summer holidays. Today, I wish it were snowing here. The weekend has not been kind to the people of country Victoria. Fortunately, I'm a city girl most of the time, but fires have devastated so many, and continue to do so.
I see you have been busy with your work. I really liked your "blue smow". It reminded me of the old-fashioned "blue-ing" that women (always women in those days I suppose) used to add to their white washing. Blue makes white look whiter, apparently. Magic.
